Parents of three year-olds on why they are going to enroll their child in the four year-old program:
- “I love the program and the teachers.”
- “We like the affordability, location and the staff members. And the curriculum seems well-balanced.”
- “Our child has been learning quite a bit in the couple months of school and loves going to Mt. Assisi. The teachers seem very dedicated and love their job. It is a caring environment.”
- “Up to this date, we are very satisfied with the program.”
- “My son was the most prepared child in his class, often used as the role model.”
- “Most importantly, my son learned to love school, which made the start of Kindergarten 100% easier. He did not struggle with anything in Kindergarten.”
- “My son was extremely prepared. Also, there were a few things he needed to strengthen the summer before Kindergarten (at the suggestion of Mt. Assisi teachers). I think he did better in Kindergarten because of their suggestions.”
- “My two other children were very well-prepared both academically and socially.”
- “My daughter did very well in Kindergarten. I was very pleased with the start she had, which is why I came back with my second child.”
- “Considering that my daughter was one of the younger ones in the class, we were concerned, but she’s been an ‘A’ student since Kindergarten all the way through the present sixth grade.”
- “All three of my children were prepared for Kindergarten. They are all in advanced (honors/GATE) classes.”
- “Mt. Assisi was highly recommended.”
- “Heard it was the best—it is!”
- “My cousin sent her children to Mt. Assisi and really liked the program.”
- “We went to the open house and liked it. We felt very welcome. The teachers were very warm to the kids and they offered a lot of fun things to do along with the academics.”
- “More organized, more academics, better qualified teachers.”
- “Mt. Assisi is the perfect preschool program. I decided that after visiting the school. It is also a wonderful, loving and Catholic Christian environment to go for his first experiences outside of family.”
- “I chose Mt. Assisi because it seemed more structured (which is what my son needed). There was a better teacher to student ratio. The years of experience the teachers have provided a sound environment and wonderful learning experiences for my kids. Also, the tuition rates couldn’t be beat! And the amount of physical space the children have in all the classrooms was much greater than the other preschools I visited.”
- “There was no doubt Mt. Assisi would be the preschool for my child. I saw how others viewed it.”
- “Felt comfortable with the teachers. We heard nothing but good things about the school and staff and wanted our child to be able to go with her cousin to preschool.”
- “The environment is welcoming and comforting. Most importantly, I was extremely impressed with the teachers and how many years they had been at Mt. Assisi.”
- “We decided that if our child was going to go to a religiously affiliated school, we wanted it to be Catholic. We made our decision at the open house due to the teachers, classrooms, atmosphere and program.”
- “Every child I’ve taken to Mt. Assisi has loved it. I’ve taken a lot of children in 15 years.”
- “You are the best. Hope you are around for my child’s children!”
- “Love the teachers. The school is very organized. My children love it.”
- “I really cannot think of a single thing I would change about the preschool. The teachers are excellent and the program is wonderful.”
- “We only wish they continued though Kindergarten. We love the program. You have the most wonderful teachers.”
- “I recommend Mt. Assisi every year. I’ve given Mt. Assisi lots of children because I really love your school. I do daycare and I send as many as I can because I believe in the school.”
- “The teachers are awesome.”
- “We have been extremely satisfied with everything.”
- “The teachers make you feel like family. It is a very welcoming school.”
- “I hear good things about it wherever I go. ‘It’s a good school,’ they say.”
- “Mt. Assisi has been the best experience. My daughter is extremely shy and sensitive. The teachers are so good with her. It makes me feel good about leaving her there.”
- “I always recommend Mt. Assisi to parents. It is a great program. First and foremost, it is a fun and loving Christian environment. Some preschools want their students reading at 3 and 4 years old. That is unnecessary and stressful. They will only be bored in K and 1st. Other preschools are nothing but fun. Mt. Assisi is the perfect balance: teaching what they need to know in a gentle and loving way. Some of the things I love about Mt. Assisi include: academic level, some Montessori activities, “God, My Father” prayer, Peter Panda, Thursdays religion class, calendar concepts, handwriting (tracing is a great preschool level), writing the numbers (I especially like the poems that help them remember how to make the number), they get some physical activity, they learn large-group games that are difficult to learn at home, they learn all of this in only a few hours a day, a few hours a week and can still be with their family the rest of the week.”
